Teaching code to kids in Atlanta, Georgia
We have varied backgrounds in programming, technology, and education, along with being parents ourselves. This gives us a unique view of our mission and a passion to pursue it. Start Code is the result of looking at the tech world and the upcoming generation and thinking “What’s next for them?” Only they can find it but we can give them a head start. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish. We offer year-round coding classes and summer camps giving students a chance to create with technology and learn coding as a second language.
A Flexible Learning Environment.
What does that mean?
At Start Code, students learn in a supportive classroom environment with a project-based approach that individualizes the learning experience. We don't want their learning and enjoyment of the material to stop at the door. They can work at their own pace between labs and can choose to go faster or slower depending on their motivation or schedule. We help them via coaching and milestones and are invested in our students and want to see them thrive.
